对“连花清瘟胶囊”的有效性。本组认为待有关临床被证实有效时(至少 12 个月),可能将( Y Q. P. Z: v
会有更多确诊和死亡的病例发生。) ~2 U, r1 H9 R5 M6 k8 }; c2 V$ h
(本组由去年至今已是第四次致函阁下及卫生部包括中医管理委员会建议要成立中医药抗疫- f. t. D4 }& U7 B

! ~- B, l, J6 x; c& E; k众所周知,政府在处理此次疫情的策略上是非常努力地想要缓解这种困境,但至今仍无法奏
2 q& l5 n) G# C$ ~* Z效。其中仍有许多需要检讨和改善的地方:譬如防疫措施、公交政策、开放边境、自我隔离
4 J7 U; A5 B% B# J m' U% T及居家康复等措施。倘若政府仍旧继续采取以现代医学主导的形式而不寻求其他医学如中医, D& P7 v& W/ C# \: i5 U' k; h
药学或营养医学的辅助,结果将可能让国家和社会付出更大的代价,这也是非常不智的做法。
1 {" g; J: l- z4 F. S2 }近期的疫情,虽然全民已有近 85% 已接种了二剂疫苗,但依然发生了许多无症状的新感染群,
; z4 D5 c' ~ w- k且有日趋严重的现象,这造成了民间人心惶惶。追根究底,不排除有关当局一直坚持采用公9 s2 ?4 N! p) ~' v' J! a
卫与西医专家的所谓“科学”方式来处理疫情的原因不无关系。
' V2 [1 X+ ~% i追溯 2003 年沙斯和 2019 年冠病期间,中国中西医界合力対抗疫病都取得了不俗的成绩。尤其
; l) Y8 |8 J( A+ ^8 ]' U是在选用纯中药配方(三药三方)后,不但成功治愈患者且没有留下任何的后遗症;反观使
2 f* h; t% h1 P1 ?5 r用类固醇激素药却产生了许多后遗症,这也是不争的事实。) B, P9 c1 q) \. H+ B: o
本次疫情卫生当局若借助中医中药的辅助治疗,或许情况能有效地将疫情遏制下来。

Re: The use of Traditional Chinese Medicine to fight COVID-19/Delta viruses

& }' I: F$ I' xOn 16 October 2021, the Quality Service Manager of the Ministry of Health has informed us that M) a+ ^2 j- u9 v8 ]1 d1 n; [
clinical research on the efficacy of “Lianhua Qingwen Jiaonang 连花清瘟胶囊” will be carried out.
$ P5 g1 O: I6 a0 g# @Our team believes that the relevant clinical trials will take at least 12 months to complete. We are$ H! J8 C. A" L9 u
sceptical that with a yearlong duration, there could be even more escalating confirmed cases and
+ }) k* w8 {) g" Z/ Tundesirable deaths from COVID-19 and Delta viruses!

voluntary Traditional Chinese Medicine Anti-Epidemic Team to help fight the Pandemic!)
1 t! V% ?) \5 x( ?8 RWhile the great effort of our government in dealing with this Pandemic is noted but it has been a/ u/ L" n2 r0 |- g& \ ?& ~' M
hard and mammoth battle to stamp out this dreadful Pandemic, and the effectiveness has been4 X0 l" q5 b9 z
limited. There are still many areas that need to be reviewed and improved: the Pandemic preventive7 K4 B2 p4 P2 y/ g- l1 a1 } e
measures, public transportation policies, border opening, self-isolation, and home rehabilitation: b0 e q5 S4 M3 J4 q: a9 G* H- z& `
measures.
# F ^6 ]. p# Z3 lIf the government continues to merely adopt modern Western Medicine and does not seek the5 j, F& H' t' a0 O1 r3 c
assistance of other medicines such as Traditional Chinese Medicine or Nutritional Medicine, it
7 V; f, x/ e' ]4 pmight be inhibiting its own efforts and result in a greater price to pay for the general public health9 }& e7 U, R2 b1 S: ~4 H% X
of our country. This might not be a very wise approach.
1 B2 {8 t: \+ n' F# E6 @In the recent Pandemic, although nearly 85% of our population has been vaccinated with two doses* ?4 ~+ n: f, Z
of the vaccine, many new asymptomatic infections have still occurred and the phenomenon has7 f/ O3 q+ i i/ s. i. ]' O
become increasingly serious, which in turn has caused some panic among the people. On hindsight,
& n4 U7 {3 f( E+ m# \# tit can be due to the fact that the relevant authorities have been only adopting the “scientific” method! }% X1 M/ @/ D2 \8 H$ c. Z9 F! j
of public health and relying on Western Medicine experts to deal with the cause of the Pandemic.6 Y" N9 ] v. @) h* [
Throwback to the SARS in 2003 and the COVID-19 in 2019, China's Traditional Chinese Medicine( ~/ a$ V4 L3 ?0 p6 W
and Western Medicine had achieved remarkable results in their joint efforts to fight the Pandemic.+ D9 S# ~8 j3 h/ [: Z
This joint effort had been well proven that after the use of Chinese Medicine formula (three# `, T s: |, D3 e; Y; z- I9 G5 k
medicines and three prescriptions), the infected patients were successfully cured without any side
$ |* C% I; w" _8 l6 Qeffects; unlike the use of steroids which could produce many obvious undesirable side effects!0 k+ ` B: G& q& h: ~+ w5 o! h# @
If our health authority of the Pandemic Team can agree with the supportive role of Traditional
) y) I. M+ c% [Chinese Medicine, the situation may improve and be able to help effectively contain this Pandemic.
; u" c/ s' O: U' }- @, BWe sincerely ask you to re-consider carefully the collective opinions of the joint TCM industry, and/ p! i% v* t* Z- i1 I
through our TCM Practitioners Board let us be a pillar of genuine support for our community health!; X s& b$ J9 y: p- G
We have amassed many local established TCM groups to jointly volunteer and support in fighting/ |8 L% o" x/ _" j! ^, z5 m; P
the spread of this infectious disease.
